About Another World

A Different Way to Experience Africa

At Another World, safari is not simply about visiting national parks or booking lodges. It is about creating the best possible conditions to experience Africa - its wildlife, landscapes, and cultures - with depth, knowledge, and respect.

For decades we have explored Africa's most remarkable regions, developing close relationships with local guides, conservation areas, and remote safari destinations. These experiences shaped a clear philosophy: travel should be meaningful, responsible, and deeply connected to the natural world.

Our journeys are designed for travelers who seek more than a checklist of places. They are for those who want to understand the rhythm of the savanna, observe wildlife in its natural behavior, and experience Africa with curiosity and care.

Our Safari Approach

The Another World Safari Method

Our safaris are built on a carefully designed, multi-layered approach developed through years of experience in Africa. It is not only about choosing the right parks or lodges - but about creating the best possible conditions for wildlife viewing, comfort, safety, and a deeper understanding of the environment. Every detail of the journey is designed to allow travelers to spend more time in the wilderness and less time on logistical movement.

Strategic Lodge Selection

The lodges we choose are not selected simply from generic availability lists. They are positioned according to wildlife movement, migration patterns, access to prime safari areas, and the ability to begin game drives directly in the most productive landscapes. This thoughtful positioning allows our travelers to spend full days in the field, following wildlife and exploring the ecosystem without wasting valuable time on long administrative drives.

Safari Vehicles Designed for the Wilderness

Our safaris operate with purpose-built Toyota Land Cruiser safari vehicles, designed specifically for wildlife exploration. Each vehicle hosts a maximum of six travelers, ensuring every guest has a window seat and direct access to wildlife viewing. The vehicles include: open double roof for panoramic viewing and photography, charging outlets for cameras and phones, onboard Wi-Fi, and a personal refrigerator for drinks during long safari days. This configuration creates a comfortable and immersive safari environment while maintaining the flexibility needed to track wildlife across the landscape.

Expert Local Driver-Guides

The quality of a safari is ultimately defined by its guides. Our local driver-guides are highly experienced professionals who know the land, wildlife behavior, and seasonal patterns of Tanzania's ecosystems. Fluent in English and trained in wildlife tracking, they transform each game drive into an exploration - interpreting animal behavior, reading the landscape, and sharing insights that deepen the safari experience.

Bush Flights Over the Savanna

To maximize time in the wilderness, many of our journeys include bush flights between safari regions. These small aircraft flights are operated by experienced bush pilots and maintained to international safety standards. Beyond the practical advantage of saving travel time, they offer an extraordinary perspective of Africa from above - rivers winding through the savanna, migrating herds crossing vast plains, and landscapes stretching far beyond the horizon.

Private Safaris Designed Around You

Our journeys are operated as private safari experiences, traveling in dedicated vehicles for groups ranging from 2 to 18 travelers. This format allows us to create flexible itineraries for: couples, families, small groups of friends, extended family trips, and incentive travel groups. Each journey is carefully adapted to the travelers' interests, pace, and sense of exploration.

Respect for Nature and Culture

Travel in Africa carries a responsibility. At Another World, we believe that meaningful travel must also support the landscapes and communities that make these journeys possible. We work closely with local partners, support responsible tourism practices, and design journeys that respect wildlife habitats, cultural traditions, and conservation efforts.

The Spirit of Another World

Africa is not simply a destination. It is a living landscape of wildlife, people, and ancient ecosystems. Our goal is not only to show travelers the beauty of this continent, but to help them experience it with understanding, wonder, and respect. That is the spirit of Another World.
