The Great Migration – Key Stages Throughout the Year: January–March (calving, southern Serengeti); April–May (rains, central Serengeti); June–August (northward, Grumeti, Mara); September–October (peak Mara crossings); November–December (return south, zebra foaling). Weather: equatorial, 1,000–2,400 m elevation, pleasant year-round; low humidity; daytime 25–28°C; night 12–18°C.

"My son and I returned a few days ago from a private one week tour in Tanzania. It was absolutely amazing in all respects. We loved every day and have the most precious memories. Our local guide Mayavoila was very know-legible, caring and pleased us where ever he could. We saw two crossings of the Wildebeests, Chittas, Leopards, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras aso.
